spring fever

Eleanor is doing great, it is sunny and 58 degrees outside, I am baking Irish soda bread. Pretty much, all is right with the world.



My friend brought over these beautiful daffodils on Monday for Eleanor. They are so sunny and cheerful and they smell amazing. I feel like I have a little springtime meadow on my table - I just want to dive into it every time I walk past.


And the plum tree in our backyard looks like this right now:
